Just when I became Hippotec’s CEO, we had an idea about having a blog on our website.
No doubt, I said, it’s a must. Communicating with our customers, putting our thoughts out there, all the things we will be able to do, WOW.
As it turns out, creating a blog is not that easy. You need to write content, re-write it, check for spelling and most important, keep it interesting. Soon enough, I began to wonder why the hell do we need it for? Why do we need a blog?
Today, creative people are betting only on one thing to be known by a large audience: blogging. Some bloggers will soon realize they’re not only bloggers, writing content for the only purpose of their clients and audience to read and get back at them through feedback, but also, entrepreneurs and small business owners. It’s not incompatible. As creative people – developers, designers and even more than those two simple hats description over our front door – we wanted to come up with the development of insightful content. Unheard, no. But, adding the “blogger” hat to our current multinational missions isn’t a pure coincidence.
For as long as we’ve been into the app development business, we wanted to share a different vision of what’s happening and thriving into this industry. The reason behind the opening of this brand new chapter isn’t at first sight obvious. We don’t have to open a blog, mostly to do like the others in this industry, but, we’re opening a blog because, as entrepreneurs in Tel Aviv, who has built from scratch a thriving company in the tech industry, we feel it’s the right moment to share some lessons we’ve learned along the way.
We built our company in the most thriving, inspiring, connected place, but as the tech bubble, Tel Aviv is also a place where competition is always on top of our priority. We don’t compare and compete with each others. We want to provide you, our clients, the best app you could ever dream to get handed. We love what we do, and that’s the only way for us to do a great work. That’s why we want to share with other entrepreneurs, starting from scratch in this busy connected world, how to manage your way through it.
